just the other day, i was driving home from work, listening to the radio station that plays only christmas music for the month of december, trying to get into the x-mas spirit. i could tell i was forcing it. it bummed me out a little. typically, i'm super siked for christmas. but i'm not going home for christmas this year. so it's basically just going to be a day off from work. which happens once or twice a week anyway.but after i got home from this bummer of a car ride, i found a package outside my apartment. it was from my mom. inside was a miniature christmas tree, or a "Charlie Brown tree", as it is referred to in my family. she even packed some ornaments, a string of lights, candy canes, and an extension cord.
